According to a consumer report on Africa American hair and hair care, it looks like natural hair is definitely the new wave.
The report states that relaxer sales are down 26% from 2008, and in the last year, 70% of black women have sported a natural look. That’s awesome!
Later I the report, it also talks about the surging cottage industry of natural hair care products (that’s me!) since traditional hair care companies aren’t meeting the needs of black women with changing hair needs.
